Students continue to be counted for retention and graduation reporting in whatever major they declared at matriculation, regardless of whether or not they may have subsequently changed their major.

Major at Matriculation uses the major long description format.

Examples

If a student declared "Biology" as their major in their matriculation term and subsequently changed their major and graduated with a major in "Psychology", the student would still appear with "Biology" as their Major at Matriculation in retention and graduation reporting.
