Highest Level Completed as used in the Alumni Curriculum Study reports identifies alumni's self-reported response to the question on the Alumni Curriculum Survey that asked participants "In the last three years, what was the highest award you received from CSUMB? Think of this program throughout this survey."

Respondents that selected a level other than Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.S.) answered a smaller set of questions that excluded some questions relevant to the Bachelor's Degree experience (e.g. Capstone, Service Learning, etc.)

Because this Highest Level Completed field was self-reported by alumni that took this survey, there is a mismatch for some records in the self-reported Highest Level Completed and the Major. The alumni's Major reported in these reports was determined by their most-recent degree awarded record from CMS.
