Credential Waiver Groups include:

"Administrative Services","Multiple Subject", "Other Specialist Instruction", "Pupil Personnel Services", "Single Subject," and "Specialist Instruction."

A multiple subject credential authorizes its holders to teach in a self-contained classroom such as the classrooms in most elementary schools.

A single subject credential typically involves co-teaching or internship and authorizes its holders to teach in secondary schools (middle and high schools).

A specialist instruction credential authorizes its holders to teach either mild to moderate or moderate to severe special education.

Other specialist instruction credentials include resource specialists.

Pupil personnel services credentials include school psychology and school social work.
