Academic Program Review is a comprehensive undertaking at CSUMB for fulfilling the institution's responsibility to assure its students, their parents, the public, the Board of Trustees, its accrediting bodies, and the CSUMB community that it provides high-quality student learning. Academic Program Review provides salient information and analysis that assist academic programs in their responsibility to continuously improve and to ensure that the necessary resources and services are in place to effectively support students as they progress to degree.

Academic program review is a way of fulfilling the institution’s responsibility to assure its students, their parents, the public, the Board of Trustees, its accrediting bodies, and the CSUMB community that it provides high-quality student learning. Program review provides salient information and analysis that assist academic programs in their responsibility to continuously improve and to ensure that the necessary resources and services are in place to effectively support students as they progress to degree."[1]
